When the carton opens, seven drawer boxes, a top panel and the sides lie on the floor in green laminate. The sheet numbers each part so you can check them off before the build begins. The drawers stack in a single column, each one sliding on metal runners that fix to the side panels.
After the build, the dresser stands against the wall with the levelling feet adjusted and the anchoring strap fitted behind it. The drawers settle into their runners over the first week of opening and closing. The allen key lives in the top drawer, or in the kitchen junk drawer, or wherever you will find it when the runners need a quarter turn two years from now.
Anything in this catalogue that stands on the floor with drawers, doors or shelves belongs anchored to the wall.
