These terms cover thefotosok.com. Using the site means reading it, following its links and checking its measurements, and these terms are written for exactly that.
What this site is
This is the FOTOSOK catalogue: our bookcases, kids storage, dressers, nightstands and cabinets, with their heights, tier counts and finishes set out so a room can be planned before anything is ordered. It is a reference, not a checkout. Our retail partner takes the payment, ships the carton and handles any return. A contract of sale is formed there, on their terms, and not here.
Assembly and anchoring
Anything in this catalogue that stands on the floor with drawers, doors or shelves belongs anchored to the wall. The consumer safety commission has campaigned on that single sentence for a decade, an anchoring kit ships with these pieces or costs very little separately, and the step takes about ten minutes with a drill and a stud finder. Follow the assembly instructions that come in the carton, and treat the anchor as part of the build rather than an optional extra.
The instructions in the carton are the authority on how a piece goes together and how it is fixed to the wall. Where our guides describe a build, they describe the shape of the job so you can plan the afternoon; they do not replace the sheet that ships with the box.
Measurements, prices and availability
Heights, widths, tier counts and drawer counts come from our product data and are printed on every card and page. Measure the wall before ordering: a 71 inch bookcase needs headroom above the tallest shelf and a floor that is level enough to sit flat.
Prices are the figures from our last update, and the date of that update is printed on the routine page and nowhere else. A price can move between updates. If the figure here and the figure at checkout ever disagree, the checkout is right, and the checkout is the only place a price becomes binding. A piece shown as Currently unavailable stays in the catalogue while it is out of stock and returns to the shelves when stock returns.
Intellectual property
The text and layout of this site belong to us. Product photographs show FOTOSOK furniture. Nothing here grants a licence to republish either.
