When the carton is opened and the parts are spread across the floor, the 63 inch height is already taking shape in white laminated engineered board. The sheets number each panel, and the vertical stack of storage begins to reveal itself as the sideboard rises from the sorted pieces.
Once anchored to the wall, the piece can be moved, but the process repeats: levelling comes first, then the anchoring step that the instruction sheet numbers. The same fittings travel in the carton for the next wall.
Anything in this catalogue that stands on the floor with drawers, doors or shelves belongs anchored to the wall. The consumer safety commission has campaigned on that single sentence for a decade, an anchoring kit ships with these pieces or costs very little separately, and the step takes about ten minutes with a drill and a stud finder. Follow the assembly instructions that come in the carton, and treat the anchor as part of the build rather than an optional extra.
